The conflicts in the novel were over all good. Characters in horror novels are typically the best part of the book, but instead of being the best part of this book, it was just a great edition to the novel that did not over power it, which was fantastic. He described the characters enough to where I got a clear image of them in my head, which was great. Stine described Anna as a pale girl with light blue eyes and light blonde hair. My favorite character in the book is Anna, she is a ghost girl, who wouldn’t enjoy that? I loved the characters so much, because R.L. The characters in The New Girl are awesome. In most of the books I read, the setting is the main thing that I enjoy about the book, but in the case of The New Girl, every component in the book balanced out well. When an author describes a setting to were one may feel like they are standing right there, they know the author is doing something right. Stine’s description in the novel was when Cory was in the lunch room and sees Anna for the first time, he felt as if they were the only people in the room, and I felt like I was witnessing the event. Stine is descriptive enough to where I feel in the moment of the words I am reading. I like the setting of this book because, R.L. In The New Girl, the setting is a great component of the book. This book was a horror novel that I loved. Stine’s use of setting, characters and conflicts, had me drown to every word.
